Studio, one of East Lancashire’s largest employers, have donated 1000 Easter eggs to charities, community projects and primary schools to celebrate their three year Family Stand sponsorship at Accrington Stanley FC, which they recently re-signed.

The eggs were delivered to doctors, nurses and staff at NHS ELHT Hospital Charity, Maundy Relief in Accrington, the Arc Project in Blackburn, and Young Carers. Winstanley, the Accrington Stanley Community Trust mascot, also made a special trip to St Mary’s Primary School in Oswaldtwistle, and eggs also went to St Andrew’s Primary School in Oswaldtwistle.

Lucy Hardwick, Manager at Maundy Relief, said: “We’ve just had our fantastic donation of Easter eggs from Studio, and we’re really grateful. They will be going out in food parcels from next week.”

Denise Gee, Charity Manager at the East Lancs Hospital Trust, commented: “We are delighted to receive all these wonderful eggs from Studio, and they’re going to go out to our doctors, nurses, and staff around the Trust – massive thank you!”

Syd Soge, manager at The ARC Project Blackburn, added: “A huge thank you to Studio for donating these wonderful Easter eggs for our asylum seeker children in the community.”

Jimmy Bell, Assistant Manager at Accrington Stanley FC, said: “Studio have donated all these fantastic Easter eggs to the community, but in even better news, Studio have agreed to a further three years sponsoring the Eric Whalley Family Stand at Accrington Stanley. Well done Studio, and Happy Easter everyone!”

Paul Kendrick, CEO of Studio said: “We’re delighted to re-sign the sponsorship deal, continuing on the journey with Accrington Stanley. We’re glad to help the community and give something back with our donation of Easter eggs, and I hope everyone enjoys them!”
